Thứ trưởng Bộ Y tế Nguyễn Trường Sơn từng nói: “Trong tình hình hiện nay, nếu bỏ bộ trang phục bảo hộ sẽ làm mất vũ khí bảo vệ cho nhân viên y tế khi tham gia lấy mẫu xét nghiệm COVID-19”. Như vậy, ta có thể thấy được tầm quan trọng của quần áo bảo hộ y tế với chúng ta và đặc biệt là nhân viên y tế.
Đồ bảo hộ y tế hiện có 4 cấp độ được phân loại dựa trên hiệu suất rào cản, khả năng hạn chế xâm nhập của vi khuẩn và giọt bắn, gồm Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 và Level 4. Mỗi level sẽ có quy chuẩn về thử nghiệm, tương ứng với các nguyên vật liệu và thiết kế khác nhau.

Với đồ bảo hộ y tế Level 4, chất vải sử dụng là vải không dệt PP được cán PE để tăng khả năng chống thấm. Bên cạnh đó, lớp vải này được ép thêm 1 lớp chống cháy tia lửa điện, ở cấp độ nhẹ. Lớp này tĩnh điện và được tráng thêm 1 lớp phim air breathable, là lớp giúp thoáng khí từ trong cơ thể ra ngoài để giúp người sử dụng được thoải mái, không bị bí hơi. Đồ bảo hộ đạt tiêu chuẩn Level 4 phải đạt tiêu chuẩn của ASTM F1671 (được sử dụng để đánh giá các thành phẩm của quần áo bảo hộ về khả năng chống lại sự xâm nhập của máu tổng hợp dưới dạng chất lỏng). Tiêu chuẩn này là gồm những điều kiện về đường may, điều kiện về chất liệu và điều kiện về áp lực nước khi thử nghiệm, đảm bảo chất lỏng và vi khuẩn không bị xâm nhập và tiếp xúc với người sử dụng.
Đối với các Level 1 – 2 – 3, các tiêu chuẩn có thể được thực hiện ở các phòng Lab trong nước để đánh giá chất lượng thành phẩm. Riêng đối với level 4, các thử nghiệm cần được gửi đến các phòng Lab ở nước ngoài để kiểm tra do các phòng Lab ở Việt Nam chưa đủ thiết bị và tiêu chuẩn. Do đó, quý Anh/Chị khi mua đồ bảo hộ cần lưu ý rõ về chất liệu và các chỉ số quy định cho từng cấp độ, vì đây là sản phẩm dùng cho môi trường lây nhiễm nên cần kỹ lưỡng trong việc lựa chọn đơn vị sản xuất có uy tín và tiềm lực trong lĩnh vực.

- Áo, quần và mũ may liền
- Bọc chân
Sản phẩm sẽ được đóng gói trong túi PE và hút chân không, đảm bảo vô trùng khi đến tay người sử dụng.
Đồ bảo hộ y tế nên mặc rộng hơn 1 tí so với dáng người để trong quá trình vận động cơ thể không bị tình trạng bí và nóng. Đối với khí hậu Việt Nam, không nên mặc đồ bảo hộ vừa vặn hoặc quá chật, sẽ dễ khiến người mặc khó chịu và mất sức do không thoát hơn được.
